Getting Your Daily Requirement Of Fruit Has Never Tasted Better


My family has the habit of biting into an apple, maybe two or three times, and then leaving it abandoned on the kitchen counter. Same thing with bananas and even peaches. They don’t get the idea that it’s wasteful, and I usually end up eating the remaining fruit, or it gets thrown in the compost bucket, especially if I don’t discover it right away. That’s why Fruit Smoothies were invented. The idea of drinking fruit instead of eating it seems to appeal to the kids. I normally pour in some milk or yogurt for the added calcium and iron, so our Fruit Smoothies become almost a meal in itself. Don’t forget to make Popsicles out of any leftovers!
