NYC Apollo

Do you enjoy making the pies and cakes for your family celebrations? I always do and especially the birthday cakes. I’ve always had great fun baking birthday cakes because there are just so many creative ways to decorate them. The only part that used to drive me a bit crazy was getting the cake itself to turn out just right. I always seemed to have a problem getting the cake to release cleanly from the pan, without losing a chunk of the cake that I would have to then cover up with heavier icing or some sort of decoration to hide the mistake.
